Rachel Sullivan Yoga

rocket vinyasa yoga & mindfulness practice

Bio

I took my very first yoga class in October 2010, looking for a holistic approach to managing depression and anxiety. Both the physical benefits of yoga and the effect of a calmer mind motivated me to deepen my understanding of yoga on the path to becoming a yoga teacher. I completed a 200 hour teacher training and have been registered with the National Yoga Alliance since February 2015.

I welcome teaching opportunities to share my passion for yoga and build community with fellow practitioners, especially military service members, veterans, and their families, including prenatal yoga students.

My personal yoga practice is a mix of many styles of modern postural yoga as well as pranayama (breathing exercises) and mindfulness practices.

I am a native of Louisville, Kentucky and a graduate of Auburn University (War Eagle!). I currently live in the Boston area.

Namaste.
